Lauri Waddell and her husband Elliot are from farming families and live in rural northwest Iowa. She has been married for 31 years and has 3 married daughters and a son in college. She has 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. She is thrilled that both granddaughters share her middle name - Lane! (They have the "Lane Society"). Lauri and her husband raise American Quarter Horses for barrel racing competition. They are active in the LeMars Church of Christ. Lauri has an associate degree in nursing. She was a stay at home mom for almost 20 years.
In 1999 she joined the working world by founding a Mortgage company that rapidly grew into the number one company in the Midwest with several major lenders. In 2002 she founded an escrow company to service her own customers. The success of her company led to Lauri being asked to serve as the Iowa Association of Mortgage Brokers president for 2004. During her tenure as president, Lauri worked to pass legislation requireing continuing education and licensure for mortgage brokers and loan originators in Iowa.
In 2002 Lauri became a real estate investor & over the course of a few short months bought & sold over 100 units. Due to her success in investing, Lauri was inducted into a National Hall of Fame for real estate investors in 2003. Lauri began mentoring other real estate investors in 2004. In 2005 she received the Mentor Most Dedicated to Students Award. She rapidly advanced to training new mentors in 2005. She authored, published and teaches a three day seminar for real estate investing coaches and mentors. Lauri was awarded Mentor Trainer of the Year for 2006. She has coached, trained and mentored in over 115 markets through out the United States. She specializes in difficult and challenging high end markets.
Lauri and her daughter Rebeka cofounded and operate the Greater Mid West Real Estate Investors Association LLC.
Lauri developed and teaches Short Sales from the lender's perspective. Lauri saw the need for investors to have more efficient management and control over their deals as well as their financing. This led Lauri to developing and teaching a three day workshop on mortgages and financing. This empowers home owners as well as investors with their lending choices. Lauri has developed and coaches an Advanced Investors Master Mind group.
In 2004 Lauri partnered with a national lender and mortgage broker to put financial control in every property owner's reach. Lauri brings to you the complete system to manage, work, close and fund your deals. By putting financial control in the property owner's hands, Lauri has opened another stream of income on every deal for investors as well as homeowners. Lauri is able to assist homeowners and property owners with their closing costs in a way that supercedes what any other lending source has provided. This assistance is available nationwide.
Lauri is a personal life coach and motivational speaker. Her areas of expertise include goal setting, creating a life legacy, writing and living by your mission statement, fulfilling your dreams, overcoming challenges and barriers and time management skills. Lauri works with clients to achieve all that they dream to be. Lauri is currently working towards her Certified Life Coach accredidation and has a goal to become a Certified Master Coach with the International Coaches Federation and train individuals to become life coaches.
